The Challenge
- The client needed to increase the proficiency level of dealer technicians
- Instructor-led training was not getting all dealership technicians trained - needed to find a more convenient, cost-effective way for technicians to train
- Client wanted to eliminate technician travel and away-from-the-shop time created by instructor-led training
Our Role
- Guided the project team through the process and customized our off-the-shelf LMS to fit in the situation
- Created dynamic landing pages to fit the different job categories
- Configured the course catalog to handle existing and new courses from multiple vendors
- Designed a standard course template to be used across the entire organization
- Integrated existing training videos and created associated testing that could be delivered through the LMS
The Results
- Solution rolled out to over 2,500 technicians at more than 1,000 dealers
- Successful delivery on time and within budget
- One-stop shopping for all technician training needs
- Dynamic elements on landing pages kept content fresh and kept technicians coming back
- Worked well with e-learning vendors to incorporate existing and new training modules
